Sergey Tiviakov won the 19th Fajr Open Chess Tournament which was held in Mashhad, Iran. He scored 8.5 points and tied with 7 other players, but won the title on tie-break.The event included 25 GMs (9 rated over 2600+), 15 IMs and 10 FMs. It was held between 26th February to 7th March and was another example of the vibrant chess community at Iran.
